ANIMA
(Denmark)

The
Atlantic Canadian Anti-Sealing Coalition is a collection
of individuals and groups from across the Atlantic Region working
to end the commercial seal hunt by peaceful and legal means. Our
strategies include public education, promotion of international
boycotts of Canadian tourism and other goods and services, demonstrations,
contacting media and governmental officials with our concerns,
and combating the dishonest propaganda used by the government
and sealing industry to promote the myth that the commercial seal
hunt is an economically necessary activity, is conducted in a
"humane" manner and is "closely monitored and tightly
regulated".

Global
Action Network is a nationally incorporated non-profit
organization, dedicated to fostering environmental awareness and
action. We believe that animals, the environment, and human welfare
are inextricably linked. Simply put, animal abuse and the destruction
of our environment has an ultimate consequence - the degradation
of the human species.

NOAH
(Norway)
Uten
overgrep.

Respect
for Animals is a non-governmental organisation dedicated
solely to campaigning against the cruel and unnecessary international
fur trade.
Respect for Animals (and Lynx before it) believes that it is morally
wrong to kill an animal for the fur on its back and by using peaceful
consumer campaigns has virtually destroyed the fur trade in the
UK. But worldwide an animal dies every second for 'fashion'. Respect
for Animals relies solely on donations from the public and without
your help our work cannot continue.

Seal
Alert The Cape Fur Seals of South Africa were and
are systematically murdered, as well as in the past as in the
present. Nowadays amongst others by the nets of the fishermen
and the seal clubbing. Even in South Africa this hunt takes place,
totally unknown in Europe. Francois Hugo, an inspiring and driven
man and the founder of Seal Alert SA, was the first to acknowledge
the suffering of the Cape Fur Seals in the 90’s of the last
century.
Sealshurt.com
was formed by a group of compassionate Canadians who represent
the majority of Canadians who deplore the horror of the hunt.
Our aim is to bring the truth about the barbaric hunt to the attention
of our elected representatives and Canadians who do not yet understand
the issue, with the hopes that the government will see fit to
abolish the hunt.
